In order to keep our clients updated on the latest updates and features to the Accelevents platform, we’ve created the Feature Announcements section of our blog.
In our first announcement, we will outline our two latest features: pre-registration and raffle notification customization. We hope these compliment your holiday fundraising plans nicely!
Following many requests from fundraising event hosts, we’ve launched our pre-registration feature. Created for hosts organizing live events, our pre-registration feature will allow hosts and their staff/volunteers to:
- Pre-Register guests with their name, contact information, and payment information. Payment information will not need to be entered again during event checkout.
- Assign bidding numbers to guests
- Charge guests for a live appeal or live auction bids based on their bidding number
Furthermore, when a guest is registered for an event, they will automatically receive a push notification via text message. This notification will include their bidding number and a link to your fundraiser. You can learn about our pre-registration functionality here.
2. Raffle Notifications
By default, our system will automatically draw and notify winners of your raffle or opportunity drawing. With our newest feature, we give you the option to announce the winners yourself!
Our system will still take care of the heavy lifting and will draw/select the winners, but if you choose, we will not notify the winners automatically. This will allow your team to announce winners in a live manner. All winner contact information will be available in the Host Console under raffle performance.
