When one of the world’s leading digital sales and marketing agencies decided to go virtual they chose Accelevents as the platform that could deliver the goods and then some.

Prior to the pandemic, IMPACT hosted in-person events that created buzz and provided education to the marketing and sales community. While face-to-face gatherings were no longer permitted, IMPACT wanted to remain top of mind and virtual was the way to get it done.
As a Diamond Solutions Partner of HubSpot’s Agency Program, IMPACT’s reputation of delivering customer success is unparalleled in the industry. Following HubSpot’s own proprietary INBOUND event earlier in the year, IMPACT’s customers were eager to learn and benefit from the recently announced new features and strategies. Despite the disruption caused by the pandemic, IMPACT still needed to find an efficient and effective way to help their customers around the world receive the most value from their HubSpot and related growth-focused investments.
IMPACT ultimately decided to host an interactive virtual event for their customers called HubSpot Training Day. As part of their platform due diligence, IMPACT prioritized the following features and aspects:
- Simulive (recorded) video in tandem with live-streamed video throughout the day’s agenda
- Integrated live-streaming without the need for a 3rd party video platform integration
- 1:1 attendee communication and networking within smaller groups
- Detailed reports and analytics, specifically on session attendance
- In-session polls
- Intuitive agenda builder
After evaluating several platforms, Accelevents checked all of the boxes and IMPACT was particularly impressed with the simulive capabilities.
“That was ‘make or break’ for us because when we have multiple sessions happening concurrently we cannot risk the common tech issues with live-streaming,” said Stephanie Baiocchi, director of community & events at IMPACT. “Plus, on-demand just doesn’t have the same engaging attendee experience as simulive.”
We were happy to hear that IMPACT’s HubSpot Training Day exceeded its attendance rate compared to previous in-person events, with nearly 1,000 attendees joining sessions. Attendees were impressed with how easy it was to use Accelevents compared to other platforms. In a post-event survey, 90% of respondents said they took advantage of building out their personal agenda prior to the event. When asked about their experience moving from session to session, 83% of attendees rated the experience a ‘4 or 5’ out of 5.
