Welcome to the 2020 School for Little Children Parents' Group online silent auction website!
Our goal is to raise over $10,000 this year and we greatly appreciate your contribution and participation in our silent auction! The money raised by the Parents' Group goes to classroom materials and teaching supplies, maintaining our school playgrounds, and hosting appreciation activities for our hard working teachers. Our committee has worked hard to gather unique auction items from numerous generous donors all across East Texas. We hope you enjoy our new digital silent auction format!
Bidding will open on this site: Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.
This online auction will be open during the week leading up to and throughout the Spring Carnival and Silent Auction event on February 29th. Items featured in this fundraising auction event will be able to be viewed at First United Methodist Church (400 N. Fredonia St.) starting on February 29th at 11 a.m. All bidding will conclude on this day, promptly at 2 p.m. *Note, new items may continually be added to this site until the day of our auction event.
How to Bid: Select items on this website to bid or text our fundraiser phone number (239) 217-6878 with the item's three letter code and bid amount (example AAA$60). No special phone apps, preregistration, or upfront credit card information is needed to place bids.
How to Pay: At the conclusion of the auction, winning bidders will receive a link sent to your phone to pay online. You may also pay in-person at the Silent Auction event on February 29th between 2:30-3p.m. All payments, either online or in-person, MUST be received promptly during this checkout period. Payments in the form of cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB or with a UnionPay logo) will be accepted. Contributions made in excess of the fair market value of an item may be tax deductible. The fair market value is listed on each item. **Charitable donation receipts are available upon request.**
How to Collect Your Items: All items may be picked up at the Silent Auction event at FUMC on February 29th between 2:30-3p.m. If you are unable to attend the event in-person, you may designate and authorize a pick-up person whom you entrust to pick-up items on your behalf. To designate a pick-up person, forward your auction receipt(s) from your email, or screenshot your winning bidder text message, to the individual whom you are authorizing to pick-up your items. They will need to show a copy of your auction receipt or winning bidder text message to the cashiers in order to pick-up items on your behalf. Alternatively, you may also pick-up items at the SFLC office on Monday March 2nd between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. In either case, please process your payment immediately online using the link sent to your phone as the winning bidder. **If you are unable to pick-up items during either of these designated times, please contact the auction manager to make special arrangements.**
