On May 4th-7th, 2026, USSD will welcome more than 900 dam and levee professionals to the Live Music Capital, Austin, TX, for multiple days of knowledge exchange, networking, and fun.
The conference will feature more than 120 technical sessions, a Plenary session, a Legacy lecture, various workshops, and multiple networking opportunities.

Notes for a smooth registration process:
- If you are registering other individuals, please enter your information in the ticket buyer fields, and the conference attendee information will be entered in the ticket holder information fields
-Check your membership status before you register. If you register for the registration type that doesn't match your USSD membership status, your registration will be adjusted and subject to additional fees.
- Make your registration plan - there are additional options for networks and training outside of the core technical program, you may want to add on
By registering for the conference, you acknowledge that you understand the USSD Cancellation Policy:
USSD understands that Customers' experience demands that result in the need to change plans. In order to balance the need for flexibility for our Customers and the investments made by USSD to provide services, we utilize the following guidelines to manage requests for cancellations, substitutions, and refunds.
Requests for refunds, substitutions, and cancellations must be submitted in writing to conferences@ussdams.org by the dates outlined below. Administrative fees will be applied to all approved refunds for the 2026 Annual Conference & Exhibition according to the following guidelines:
- - On or Before 2/14/2026 = Full Refund- 2/15/26 – 3/14/26 = 90%- 3/15/26 – 3/31/26 = 80%- 4/1/26 or later = no refund
- **all credit card processing fees are non-refundable**
Substitutions may be made prior to the event or onsite before a person has checked in. Please note that once a registration packet/nametag has been picked up, that person is considered “present or checked in”.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
BOOK IN ROOM BLOCK
Hotel contracts require USSD to be financially liable for unused sleeping rooms. The sleeping room rate covers the cost of meeting space and the labor to set up each meeting room. Staying at the conference hotel also provides you with the benefit of after-hours networking and easy accessibility to meetings and sessions. Please help USSD avoid unnecessary penalties and keep registration fees low by booking your sleeping room at the Hilton Austin.
AVOID HOUSING PIRATES
Only the official USSD website hosts information about booking hotels for the Hilton Austin. All meeting attendees should book hotels through the official housing link. You will need to book your hotel rooms online with the link provided on the official USSD website before you register for the conference.
If someone other than the official USSD 2026 team contacts you via e-mail, phone or mail, please DO NOT provide them with your personal information, especially your credit card number. If you provide your credit card information to any of these companies (commonly referred to as “pirates” or “housing bandits”), your credit card may be charged and you might not have a hotel room when you arrive in Austin.
