Biotechnology for a circular bioeconomy:
carbon capture, waste recycling and mitigation of global warming
This online event will explore the recent research on the circular bioeconomy in the following topics:
- carbon capture for energy, products and proteins
- from waste and wastewater to valuable products
- biotechnology to mitigate climate change and global warming
- towards a circular bioeconomy: progress and bottlenecks.
The conference will include:
- keynote lectures by the top European and Asian scientists
- short talks and flash talks selected from submitted abstracts
- poster presentations.

Registration
To support sicientist affected by the war, the EFB offers free regsitration for Ukrainian citizens. Please contact events@efbiotechnology.org
Standard registration fee: 38 euro
Early bird registration fee (unitl 27 January 2023): 30 euro
Special offer for groups: if 3 or more members from the same organisation register for the meeting, the registration fee is 30 euro per person.
If your group would like to register with the reduced rate (30 euro):
- all members of the group need to register in the system (please choose "bank transfer" as the payment method; you can change the method of payment at the later stage)
- please send the list of the registered group members to: events@efbiotechnology.org
- you will receive a confirmation by email that you can proceed with the payment.
If the full registration fee has been paid (38 euro), it is not possible to receive the discount.

Abstract submission
Scientists from academia and industry are invited to submit abstracts describing original research in one of the conference topics.
Abstracts are accepted until 10 March 2023. The deadline has been extended until 23 March 2023 (ONLY FOR POSTERS).
