A virtual magical meeting of stitching friends.  This event will feature a casual time of crafting, including:
 
🎃  EVERY STITCH A MEMORY - NEEDLEWORK AND MOURNING - A lecture with Little Robin Designs.  What does mourning look like when death is routine?  Let's explore antique memorial samplers to discover how needleworkers of the past turned their grief into enduring, tangible expressions of love and remembrance.  (Included under general admission ticket).
✨ EXCLUSIVE SHOPPING - We have four exclusive patterns lined up for this event which you'll find in the shopping hall along with other fresh goodies.
🦇  COMMUNITY FINISH PARADE ~ come show us your dazzling project.  This session is always super inspiring!
✨ DESIGNER MEET & GREETS ~ Our exclusives designers are excited to show you what they've been up to and answer your questions.
🦇  SPEED DATING ~ a favorite Lindy Stitches event feature!  Grab your latest project and join in the fun of five minute chat sessions.
✨ CASUAL STITCHING TABLES ~ join a virtual stitching table to meet up with old friends or meet new stitchers.  Tables will run the duration of the event.

Full Kits & PDF patterns will be sent/emailed directly from Tiger Lily within 5 days of your Lindy Stitches purchase. The exclusive video tutorial is available using the QR code on page 2 of the pattern. This will allow folks to watch early, or even try sewing early, but only if you want to. During the Harvest Moon LIVE Q&A event we will go through making the bag together step by step and answer any and all questions.

BONUS: All class attendees will have FOREVER access to the full video tutorial. (Not the Harvest Moon LIVE Q&A Class, this will be the normal 30 day only access)

CLASS DETAILS:
Edvard Munch, the Norwegian expressionist painter best known for "the Scream," is reported to have said, "From my rotting body flowers shall grow and I am in them and that is eternity."  Join Beth Twist for a class with multiple finishing techniques to create an homage to the natural cycle of death and life from a darkly romantic perspective.  Paint a coffin and fill it with mummy-shaped pincushion complete with black flower pins, and topped with a stitched lid carrying Edvard's quote.

There are two ticket options to join the fun, and you just choose one!

1. Partial Kit (U.S. only) shipped directly to you including:

  • 7" paper mache coffin
  • Matboard mummy-shaped template from The Board Room
  • Cheesecloth fabric for mummy
  • Printed cross stitch pattern with charts for both 32/16 and 36/18 fabrics

Create a beautiful keepsake that celebrates your favorite holiday memories! In this step-by-step workshop, I'll guide you through the painting, assembly, and finishing techniques used to create the Stitch & Style Keepsake Ornament from 141 Design Company.

Designed as a shallow shadow box, this unique ornament is the perfect way to display your treasured 4" x 6" memories—whether that's a favorite family photograph or a finished cross stitch piece. 

During class, we'll cover:

  • Painting and finishing techniques
  • Assembly of the ornament
  • Mounting your photograph or stitched piece
  • Adding the finishing details and embellishments
  • Tips for achieving a polished, professional finish

Your class registration includes:

  • Live step-by-step workshop instruction

The Stitch & Style Keepsake Ornament Kit is available from 141 Design Company for $12.00 and includes:

  • Two mat boards for mounting either stitching or photographs

What to Bring

Please come to class with:

  • Your selected 4" x 6" photograph(s) (horizontal or vertical orientation both work beautifully), and/or
  • Your completed Boo Crew Kids cross stitch project, fully stitched and ready for mounting.

Your supplies list will outline the additional paints, adhesives, brushes, and finishing materials you'll need to complete your ornament during the workshop.

Whether you choose to preserve a special family photo or showcase your stitching, this workshop will leave you with a beautiful keepsake you'll enjoy displaying throughout the holiday season for years to come.

At your house!  This event is 100% virtual.

2.  How does this work?

All you have to do is purchase a general admission ticket and you're ready for the magic!  After purchase your ticket will be emailed to you.  Get comfy in your stitching chair and use your ticket to sign on with your favorite device when the show begins.  You get to decide how "interactive" you want to be at our virtual events.  It is not required to show up on video.

3.  How do I sign up for a session or class?

Every feature of the event is accessible under the general admission ticket except for the two classes.  If you would like to attend a class, you'll need to purchase a class ticket as well.  

4.  What technology will I need to attend?

If you would like to participate in live chat or classes, it is highly recommended that you use a PC.  Microphones on ipads are not always compatible with the show interface.  

5.  Will there be shopping?  Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we will have a booth with four exclusive designs as well as other goodies.  Our exclusive designs are PDF only so they can be accessed internationally.  Plysical items may or may not ship to your country.

6.  Will the event be close captioned?

All the live main-stage sessions will be live captioned.  To turn on captions at stitching tables, you can follow our instructions on this page.

7.  I'm not in the United States.  Can I still come?

This event is not limited to a location, so please do!  We have an international stitching table so you can hopefully meet others in your time zone.  :)

8.  Will the sessions be recorded for later?

The scheduled sessions will be recorded for later viewing; you can come back in for 30 days to watch.  Public areas like stitching tables are not recorded.  Class recordings will also be available for 30 days following the event.

9.  What is the refund policy of the tickets?  My plans might change.

Tickets are nonrefundable.
