This lecture will provide a comprehensive review of the management of open bite malocclusions with clear aligner therapy. There will be an overview of open bite etiology, diagnostic considerations, and the inherent challenges in treatment planning. Biomechanical principles specific to clear aligners will be discussed, with emphasis on strategies to optimize vertical control and long-term stability. The second portion of the lecture will present clinical case examples to illustrate evidence-based approaches and practical applications in achieving successful open bite correction with aligners.
