The Racies Unidas Youth Conference (RUYC for short) is a conference hosted by the UO Mecha and Office of the Dean of Students providing Latinx High Schoolers from around the state of Oregon to participate in a day filled with Keynote Speakers, Workshops, and Relationship Building. Given our current realities, we have shifted to this online platform and the conference will have a modified schedule for 10am - 2:30pm.

The theme of this year's RUYC is "Nuestra Lucha Sigue" or "Our Fight Continues" in the hopes of inspiring our youth to fight for change, strive for equity, and demonstrate unity amongst all Latinx communities. Given the unprecedented events of 2020 and the start of 2021, it's important that we have an opportunity to be in community and showcase the power of our identity and the importance of our collective resilience. We cannot, and will not, remain silent and complacent in the face of injustice.
