A free business networking event will help minority, women, and small business owners connect to opportunities in government contracting. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet government prime contractors and sub-contractors with the goal of forming new partnering relationships. Businesses will also have a chance to connect with representatives of multiple government agencies and learn about the processes and procedures necessary to do business with local government.
The Open Doors Forum is organized by Hillsborough County's Disadvantaged/Minority/Disadvantaged Women Business Enterprise (DM/DWBE) and Small Business Encouragement (SBE) programs as part of an Economic Development initiative to increase access for minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses to participate in local government purchasing contracts.
