The mission of The Barn at Spring Brook Farm is to enrich the developmental skills and lives of children with disabilities through animal-assisted and nature-based experiences. The Barn offers a healing alternative for children whose lives are often filled with anxiety, challenges, and limitations, and provides a safe, secure, and happy setting in which they can excel, discover and embrace their capabilities.

Our primary fundraising event, the Hoe Down (this year, the Halloween Hoe Down!) provides the essential funding needed to underwrite The Barn’s core mission expenses so programs can remain available and affordable to all children who wish to participate. The Barn also awards need-based financial assistance (scholarships) to over 30% of participating families.

Since its incorporation in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Barn has provided a environment where the simple act of walking a miniature horse or collecting eggs from a hen house has changed the lives of hundreds of children's lives in miraculous ways.

Please join us at The Barn for the live event on October 21. Tickets can be purchased here. However, if you are unable to attend, you can still participate in the silent auction* and help support our mission. With over 40 items and experiences to bid on, there's bound to be something you want or something you'd like to give a friend or loved one (the holidays will be here before you know it!) The auction will open at noon on Wednesday, October 18 and will close at 9:30pm on Saturday, October 21.
