Policies
AdNet Annual Conference Refund Policy
AdNet is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization committed to supporting philanthropic service professionals at community foundations through professional development, networking, and shared learning. Our annual conference is planned and implemented by a team of volunteers from the AdNet board and AdNet members at large, working with a small event planning firm. We strive to keep our annual conference affordable and accessible to all members, while maintaining the highest quality of sessions and networking opportunities and ensuring the financial sustainability of the event.
Due to the nature of conference planning, many of our expenses—such as venue rental, hotel accommodation, speaker fees, and catering—must be paid in advance. As a result, our ability to absorb cancellations is limited.

Refunds for conference registrations will be issued for requests submitted in writing on or before 5:00 pm Eastern Time on January 7, 2026 to the Conference Management Team via email at conference@adnetcf.org. A non-refundable administrative processing fee of $100 will be deducted from all refunds. Refunds will be processed within 30 days and will be issued to the original form of payment.

After the deadline, if a registrant is no longer able to attend, conference registrations may be transferred to a colleague. Credits toward future conferences are not available. No-shows and cancellations after 5:00 pm Eastern Time on January 7, 2026 are not eligible for refunds.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to deliver a high-quality experience for all attendees, in a financially sustainable way.

General Information
I can no longer attend in-person, what are my options?
We will accept cancellation requests that are received by 5pm Eastern Time on January 7, 2026. Cancellations made on or before the deadline will be refunded, minus a $100 administrative processing fee. You can also transfer your registration; see below.
Credits toward future conferences are not available. 
No-shows and cancellations after 5:00 pm Eastern Time on January 7, 2026 are not eligible for refunds.

Can I transfer my registration? 
Yes! Please log back into your account and edit the registration information. If you have any questions, please email us at conference@adnetcf.org

Is there a pay later option? 
Yes! However, we do require payment prior to the conference start date. Attendees with unpaid fees must pay on-site for entry.

Are there any special registration requirements? 
All exhibitors and sponsors must register as participating attendees to access conference sessions, meals, and events. Full payment must accompany applications for exhibit space. 
Speakers should register as an attendee depending on Member or Non-Member status. Registration prices are not waived for individuals speaking at the conference. 

How can I receive the discounted hotel rate?
The conference will be held at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. You can book your hotel room at our group block rate of $299 plus taxes and fees. Rooms are limited; AdNet cannot guarantee a room for all attendees.

The conference rate is guaranteed until February 3, 2026. Any reservations made after this date are subject to availability and prevailing hotel rates. 

Is the conference app available? 
Yes, there will be a conference app featuring the agenda, attendee information, sponsor profiles, and networking features. Details will be provided closer to the conference date.
