The 2026 Annual SMA Conference will be held in Orlando, FL at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Hotel from Thursday, June 25 - Sunday, June 28, 2026. 

Onsite registration is open during the following times at the Cure SMA Registration Desk, located Yacht Club Hotel Convention Center:

-Wednesday, June 24 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm

-Thursday, June 25 from 9:00am – 5:30pm

-Friday, June 26 from 8:00am – 4:35pm

-Saturday, June 27 from 8:15am – 5:00pm

Every year, Cure SMA sponsors a conference to bring together the leading SMA researchers, clinicians, families, and individuals living with SMA. Cure SMA has been hosting the Annual SMA Conference since 1988. We look forward to reuniting as a community at this year's conference to lend each other support and strength, and to learn about the latest advances in research and care. 

As always, the Community, Researcher, and Clinical Care Conferences run alongside each other. Through these conferences, we bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, families, and individuals with SMA to network, learn, and collaborate. The Annual SMA Conference is the largest conference in the world for those affected by SMA, and also for those involved in providing support and care for SMA patients. 

This year's conference weekend is packed with engaging workshops, inspiring general sessions led by top researchers, a family-friendly poster session, the always-popular Meet & Greet Fun Fest, a dedicated children's program, and much more!

As we prepare for our largest attendance yet, we're excited to try a new format with expanded Saturday evening onsite networking opportunities in place of the external Disney Evening at the Park. This new format includes multiple social events designed to foster deeper connections, more meaningful conversations, and lasting relationships.
