The annual NETA conference is the highlight of our programming season. It offers a full day of presentations for translators, interpreters, language students, and anyone interested in translation and interpreting. The conference is an excellent opportunity to make contact with colleagues, potential clients, and friends from New England and beyond.
The ATA has approved a maximum of five CEUs for live events only, not recordings.
The Massachusetts Office of Language Access has approved these presentations for one CEU each:
1. Digital Flourishing: achieving wellness in an increasingly digital world (opening session)
2. From Snippets to Corpora – Looking up the Senses of a Word’s Meaning
3. Lines, Tigers and Bares!
4. Alternative review methods for better accuracy
5. Diversification for translators and interpreters (closing session)
CCHI (Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters) has approved these presentations for 0.75 CE hours each:
1. Digital Flourishing: Achieving Wellness in an Increasingly Virtual World
2. From Snippets to Corpora – Looking up the Senses of a Word’s Meaning
3. Introduction to Voice Movement Therapy for Interpreters
4. Interpreting for Special Education
5. The Medical Interpreter, an Essential Part of the Care Team
6. Lines, Tigers and Bares!
The IMIA has approved the following sessions for a potential total of 5 contact hours = 0.5 IMIA/NCBMI CEUs:

2. Introduction to Voice Movement Therapy for Interpreters
3. Interpreting for Special Education
4. The Medical Interpreter, an Essential Part of the Care Team
