The annual NETA conference is the highlight of our programming season. It offers a full day of presentations for translators, interpreters, language students, and anyone interested in translation and interpreting. The conference is an excellent opportunity to make contact with colleagues, potential clients, and friends from New England and beyond.
The ATA has approved a maximum of five CEUs for this year's conference.
The CCHI (Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters) has approved these presentations for 1 CE credit each:
1. Language Work and Trauma: Connecting the Dots
2. Consecutive Refresher: Interpret with your 5 Senses (Part 1)
3. Consecutive Refresher: Interpret with your 5 Senses (Part 2)
4. Upholding Team Interpreting in the Remote Simultaneous Age
5. Back to the Future: An interpreter's very late career change and how to stay calm amid chaos
1. Consecutive Refresher: Interpret with your 5 Senses (Part 1)
2. Consecutive Refresher: Interpret with your 5 Senses (Part 2)
Attendance at both sessions will earn 0.3 credits with the IMIA, or 2 credits with the MA OLA.
