In this present time, we are experiencing so many challenges – a global pandemic, racial discord, a struggling economy. For many, this time is reminiscent of another turbulent time in our nation’s history – the ’60s. There were culture clashes, an unpopular war, and racial discord. And yet there was something about the 60’s that we could use more of today - OPTIMISM.
At the beginning of that decade, there was a challenge to land people safely on the moon, and by 1969 it happened!
How can we reconnect with that same spirit of optimism? How can we live more hopefully and more fully into God’s great plan for us?

In 2018, Facebook announced a major change to its algorithm affecting how posts are prioritized and ordered in the News Feed. Instead of seeing a variety of posts from news sources, brands, organizations, our News Feeds transitioned into a place of conversations between friends and loved ones. In this session, we will walk through how you can use Facebook (or any social media platform) to build lasting relationships with the parents of your children, church members, and community.
While we might not all be able to meet and sing in-person, there are still so many ways we can keep community. We will explore ways to help our communities grow through empowerment, meaningful ritual, and genuine connection. Everything we cover is something we can do virtually, and should seek to carry with us when we are once able to sing together again.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them…”
