For some, it takes months, and for others, it takes years to reach out for help when leaving a domestic violence, human sex trafficking, or sexual assault situation. From the moment a client and their children step foot in our shelter they are shown nothing but love, respect, and dignity. Though the journey is tough, our staff ensure they find the best pathway out of their situation, feeling empowered and excited about new life opportunities. Join us in helping more people find their pathway to empowerment.
All proceeds from Glimmer of Hope go to supporting our Victim Services Shelter - an eight-room, 20-bed shelter for those who are fleeing a life of domestic violence, human sex trafficking, or sexual assault.
This year alone, we have:
- Served 96 clients providing 3,954 nights of safety
- Made available nearly 12,000 meals
- Facilitated 832 1:1 client meetings
- Answered 547 hotline calls
Now more than ever, we need your help! Due to increased financial stress, more time being spent at home, and other stressors, domestic violence has greatly increased. Help us empower those who have fled or are in the process of fleeing a life of violence by supporting this years Glimmer of Hope.
