THEME: MAKING STRIDES TOWARDS QUALITY CANCER CARE
Greetings from the KESHO Secretariat,
Welcome to the 2020 Kenya International Cancer Conference. We are so glad you were able to join us!
First thing’s first, we would like to thank you all for the tremendous support we have received on our journey towards cancer eradication. As we continue to grow and develop more impactful strategies as an organisation, we would like to encourage even greater participation from both local and regional professionals through membership, medical education interactions, and round-table discussions.
At this year’s conference, we have lots in store for you so do take some time to browse through our conference platform and familiarise yourself with some of its functions and features.
Our key objectives for the conference this year are:
There is need for patient-centered, high-quality, and value-based care in the management of cancers in general. This includes the whole continuum from prevention, timely access to screening, diagnosis, treatment and palliative care services; and improving rehabilitation and support activities.
The 2020 programme will feature talks from leading specialists as well as primary care professionals from all across Africa and the world.
We look forward to your feedback on this year’s virtual conference. If you have any questions or challenges, the KESHO secretariat is at hand to help, just let us know via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
See you at the sessions.
