Using the Teaching Family Model this presentation will provide strength based, evidence-based approaches to be used by caregivers to address youth’s challenging behaviors.

This presentation will allow for caregivers to understand the who, the how and the why we find ourselves in situations with children who struggle with challenging behaviors and what we do to regulate OUR own behavior, to allow for us to regulate, reconnect and reflect on the behaviors with those around us.

Participants will leave this presentation with a solid understanding of how the principals of Learning Theory, Trauma, and regulation impact the decisions and behaviors of the children we serve.
