D CEO Healthcare Breakfast:

COVID-19's Impact on Pediatric Mental Health

The isolation, interruption of activities, and remote schooling across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in increased mental health issues for youth and adolescents.

Children are spending more of their time online, providing more opportunities for the harassment, bullying, and abuse that go along with it, further exacerbating these issues. Fortunately, a slow reduction of the stigma surrounding mental health issues is allowing more people to get the help they need.

D CEO Healthcare is proud to host a thought leadership panel on this timely topic. Hear from local healthcare experts about their experiences with pediatric mental health during the pandemic, what the data say, what the end of the pandemic may bring, and what patients, providers, families, and employers can do to address the issue.

Join us on April 20 at 8 a.m. for networking and a panel discussion.

Panelists will include:

Awstin Gregg, Therapist, Owner, and CEO, Connections Wellness Group

Dr. Whitney Herge, Pediatric Psychologist, Scottish Rite for Children

Dr. Nicholas Westers, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at UTSW and Clinical Psychologist at Children’s Health

Moderated by:

Will Maddox, Managing Editor, D CEO Magazine
