NYSTRS will host its 11th annual Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Investments and Professional Services Conference virtually over two half days. The event serves to acquaint potential asset managers and brokers, and professional and financial service providers, with the Retirement System. Attendees learn about NYSTRS’ portfolio and investment needs while also gaining greater insight into the abilities and qualifications the System expects of its business partners.
Keynote speaker Jodie McLean, CEO of EDENS, one of the nation’s leading private owners, operators and developers of retail real estate, will speak with NYSTRS Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer Thomas K. Lee during a fireside chat on Thursday morning.
Workshops – including fixed income, private equity, professional services (financial and legal), public equities (asset managers and brokers) and real estate – will give attendees the opportunity to hear from NYSTRS managing directors and staff. Q&A sessions will follow each workshop and networking opportunities will be offered.
