OxFID is one of the largest student-led development conferences in Europe, drawing in attendees from the UK, as well as internationally every single year. Since 2008, OxFID has been facilitating conversation and collaboration between actors in international development, inspiring attendees to engage with global issues, and providing opportunities for networking and dialogue across a range of sectors and disciplines.


OUR THEME

This year's conference under the theme “Remapping Change: Where do we go from here?”, will take place on the 6th and 7th February and will cover three major sub-themes:

Legacies of Power: Examining Attitudes and Practices

Shifting Landscapes: Cooperation and Conflict in the Present Day 

Development Disrupted: Finding Opportunity in Crisis


OUR PARTNER CHARITY

We are pleased to announce that this year, £1 of every one-day ticket and £2 of every two-day ticket will go to our partner charity Opportunity International! In collaboration with them, we have an exciting giveaway in store for you! Win a week's work experience with Opportunity International OR one of two available scholarships worth 1,250 USD with The Spaceship Masterclass, a programme designed by The Spaceship for aspiring social entrepreneurs.   • This year's conference will be held entirely online through Accelevents. 
  • Ticket options include: registering for a single session, registering for a single day of the conference or registering for the entire weekend.
  • Tickets-holders get 30-day viewing access to any sessions they registered for (even if they did not attend them live).
  • Information about confirmed Speakers, Sessions, Sponsors, and other Partners is available under the tabs above. This information is not final and will continue to be updated.
  • All tickets give access to the Accelevents networking features
  • All tickets allow ticket-holders to register for virtual networking sessions (subject to capacity)
  • Ticket holders will receive confirmation of their purchase within 72hours and further registration instructions will be sent to you at the earliest on January 16th.
