Lead Collaborative Learning for the DIB Contractor Community

Facilitate meaningful discussions and knowledge sharing among peers

What is a Roundtable?

  • Small group collaborative discussions (8-10 participants)
  • Peer-to-peer learning environment
  • Interactive problem-solving sessions
  • Knowledge sharing among DIB contractors
  • 60-minute focused discussions

Submit your biggest challenge to be considered for a Roundtable Topic at CS5 East

Educational Topic Requirements

  • Must be relevant to DIB contractor community challenges
  • Focus on practical, actionable knowledge sharing
  • Encourage peer-to-peer learning and best practices
  • Address current compliance, security, or operational topics
  • No product pitches or vendor promotions

Role of a Roundtable Facilitator:

  • Guide discussion, not lecture
  • Encourage participation from all attendees
  • Keep conversation focused and productive
  • Create inclusive, safe learning environment
  • Synthesize key insights and takeaways

A roundtable facilitator and a conference speaker play distinct roles. A facilitator guides group discussions, asks probing questions, encourages peer sharing, manages time and flow, captures insights, and fosters a collaborative space. In contrast, a conference speaker presents prepared content, shares expertise, delivers information, answers questions, and provides solutions, typically leading from the front. The call for conference speakers and roundtable facilitators will open soon.
