Encountering Innovation Week is a virtual 4-day conference that provides innovators and advanced manufacturers the opportunity to present and showcase their innovation and manufacturing capabilities to various government agencies and federal agency prime contractors as well as bring innovators and technology companies together to meet and exchange ideas.
Tech Scouts from the Department of Defense, Academia, and various government agencies will listen to pitches, discuss government needs, and chat with innovators during events throughout the week. Through these connections, innovators will gain feedback and direction; additionally, their innovation may be selected for socialization among government agencies.
Federal prime contractors including Northrop Grumman & Department of Energy's Kansas City National Security Campus managed by Honeywell, government agencies including GSA, USDA, EPA and small businesses will meet in private matchmaking sessions for contracting, subcontracting and teaming opportunities. Through these connections, businesses may be targeted for contracting and/or subcontracting with participating federal primes, government agencies or other participating small businesses.
All small businesses will have the opportunity to network and connect with DOD and other Agency Prime Contractors, advanced manufacturing companies and other small business innovators who are looking for new innovations and strategic partnerships.
The week will also include main stage sessions to discuss current and future needs of industry, eight (8) workshop sessions focusing on advancing innovation and contracting efforts led by industry experts, and direct contact with all innovators, technologies and businesses through the expo hall and attendee section. Conference attendees are prohibited from recording conference sessions.
The event will occur on the platform Accelevents. You will receive Accelevents login instructions approximately one week prior to conference start.
