We are excited to have you join us. Jasper County Animal Rescue League (JCARL) is a non-profit organization located in Newton, Iowa. We serve all of Jasper County and parts of Poweshiek County. Last year, 969 animals were adopted to their forever homes from our shelter that served as a safe haven for them. We are the only organization in our area to offer animal control services in our community and neighboring areas. JCARL proudly carries the "no-kill" shelter distinction with great honor. We strive to provide the best lifesaving and nurturing care to every animal that enters our facility. We are blessed to have a dedicated staff and board who work diligently to find loving, suitable, forever homes for the animals that are in our care. Nearly two-thirds of our funding is received from generous donors, primarily through fundraising events.
