OriginAL is our new joint program, that aims to provide a volunteer, educational and cultural experience for Diaspora Youth that will strengthen their sense of ethnic identity and create long-lasting connections, especially with their youth peers in our homeland countries.    

It is patterned on the idea of Birthright Israel, ReConnect Hungary, and similar programs in other countries, and will be launched in 2022. We plan to bring at least 40 young Albanians in the first year to Albania and Kosova as a pilot project, and to build this number to hundreds and then thousands of Albanian youth from all over the world in the next years. 

Our initial focus will be on youth interested in the following topics, and we hope that supporters like you will take a particular interest in at least one of these groups:

• Entrepreneurship and Information Technology
• Environment and Natural Resources; and
• Arts and Culture.

We want you to be a part of our collective journey to provide an educational and cultural experience for Diaspora Youth that will strengthen their sense of ethnic identity and create long-lasting connections, especially with their youth peers in our homeland countries.   

This journey begins on December 11 through a one-day conference that will consist of panel discussions, virtual networking and exhibitions, where our speakers will share their stories and experiences of being Albanians abroad.
