The Production Music Conference (PMC) is the premier annual gathering for the global production music community.

Hosted by the Production Music Association (PMA), the PMC brings together composers, publishers, libraries, tech partners, and industry leaders from 70+ countries for three days of networking and educational opportunities to further advance the value of production music and the industry's community.

This event is fully in-person , with panel programming streamed live both within the virtual conference platform and within the conference app. The portal system will open on September 9th!

The Production Music Association (PMA)
Code of Conduct
To ensure the diverse, inclusive, and respectful environment necessary to allow the PMA to achieve its purpose, the PMA requires that its members agree to and comply with this Code of Conduct (the “Code”) and any applicable rules and regulations issued by the PMA. PMA members acknowledge and agree:

1. Behave in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner towards others, including PMA employees, contractors, vendors, and/or persons visiting or working in the PMA’s offices, meetings, or events.
2. Communicate differences of opinion regarding PMA matters in a professional manner with due regard for the disparate viewpoints of others.
3. Refrain from threatening or engaging in, whether verbally, physically and/or in writing, any form of abuse, bullying, harassment and/or discrimination, including, without limitation, on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, disability, age, religion, or any other protected classifications.
4. Refrain from engaging in unruly, disruptive, lewd, or illegal conduct at the PMA’s offices, meetings, or events.
5. Respect the rules and property of all organizations and venues hosting, sponsoring, or managing events of or on behalf of the PMA.
6. Refrain from endangering the health or safety of others in connection with the PMA’s meetings or events.
7. Refrain from interfering with the duties or authority of the PMA and its officers, directors, executives, employees, contractors, vendors, or agents.
8. Refrain from using affiliation with the PMA to profit, including without limitation, by offering to sell or selling the PMA’s confidential membership list unless expressly agreed to and authorized by the PMA in advance and in writing.
9. Maintain the confidentiality of any confidential or proprietary information or materials concerning or relating to the PMA and refrain from disclosing same, unless expressly agreed to and authorized by the PMA in advance and in writing.
10. Refrain from making commitments or speaking on behalf of the PMA, including communicating with the media, unless expressly agreed to and authorized by the PMA in advance and in writing.
11. Use of PMA trade names, trademarks, titles, or logos is permitted for approved purposes, provided such use aligns with PMA guidelines and has not been otherwise restricted. The PMA reserves the right to revoke or limit such use at any time.

Code Violations
Reports regarding a violation of the Code will be guided by the following process:
1. Alleged violations of the Code should be reported to the PMA at the following email address: info@pmamusic.com. The PMA will protect the confidentiality of such reports to the extent possible.
2. The person reporting the alleged violation must have first-hand knowledge of the facts or circumstances of the matters reported.
3. If the PMA determines that any individual has violated the Code, been indicted or convicted of a crime, including, without limitation, a felony or crime of moral turpitude, or compromised the integrity of the PMA by their actions (as determined by the PMA in its sole discretion), the PMA may take any adverse action, including without limitation, ejection from PMA events, or the denial, suspension, or expulsion from PMA’s
membership or affiliation, subject to the PMA’s Bylaws, rules and regulations, or in the PMA’s sole discretion.
4. Subject to the procedure set forth in the Bylaws or as otherwise required by law, the PMA retains its independent duty and authority to address and act on any matter related to an individual’s status and to enforce the Code.

The Code is subject to change, and may be amended, supplemented, or superseded from time to time without notice except where required by law.
