The REAL Retreat is a chance to take a couple days to get away from the daily grind and recharge with an inspirational presentation that will help you grow your skills as a communicator and leader for your practice.  It will also allow some time for recreation or to spend time with your family and colleagues in a beautiful mountain location.

 

The Ruidoso Convention Center is located adjacent to the Links at Sierra Blanca and the MCM Elegante Hotel.  Play some golf, take a hike, go on a color tour, or visit the Lincoln County Historic Site.  There is plenty to do near Ruidoso for all ages.

 

On Friday evening we will go to the Flying J Chuckwagon to enjoy a private dinner and show.  It will be a fantastic evening together including the kids with plenty of entertainment and a rollicking good time.

 

The Ruidoso community was devastated, first by fires and then by flooding, but they are welcoming back the tourists that are so important to their economy.  We are pleased to contribute in a small way to the recovery and hope you will also show your support for their recovery by attending this retreat.

Speaker

Bruce Burton, DDS

Dr. Burton has been a private practice general dentist since 1980 and has been continually involved with organized dentistry for over 30 years. He recently finished his presidency for the Oregon Dental Association (ODA) and served as president of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2005. He has extensive training in all areas of dentistry and has lectured continuously for the last 10 years on leadership and ethics and is well versed in constitution and bylaws. Bruce started the Oregon Academy of Leadership for the ODA and has conducted 25 leadership workshops around the country including this year for the ADA Board of trustees. He was the keynote speaker for the last three national leadership symposia for the AGD. Dr. Burton’s passion is to create leaders who are ethical and serve to do what is best for patients. He is a team player and one of the best at bringing a group to consensus. He brings logic, fairness and common sense to all discussions and debates.
