Join us at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel for this interactive training that equips ACSI Member Schools to launch and sustain a thriving Student Leadership Institute (SLi) on their campus. Designed specifically for Christian schools, SLi fosters a leadership culture where students are empowered to lead with purpose, stand firm against cultural norms, and inspire others to do the same. Participants will leave confident in their role as mentors, ready to raise a generation of flourishing student servant leaders who lead with a biblical mindset and courageously influence the world around them.

Overview of SLi Training

Part 1 – A Strong Foundation

The first part of SLi training lays the foundational groundwork of what the educator/leader needs to do to prepare to implement a healthy student servant leadership culture. True servant leadership requires critical thinking muscles to flex and develop and is easier to implement than we think. Discover the secret of moving from task/program-oriented leadership to servant leadership transformation and uncover strategies to develop a servant leadership culture in your ministry or school.

Learning Objectives:

Learn how to effectively train students in the Biblical model and definition of servant leadership with a core emphasis on four operating principles.
- Abiding in Christ
- Engaging the Culture
- Serving Others, Not Self
- Serving in a Local Church
Learn to create a healthy student servant leadership culture on campus.
Learn to identify and develop student leaders by providing them with a sustainable and applicable servant leadership training program that can be incorporated into any schedule.
Learn to identify and train staff members who will partner to lead a Student Leadership Development program on their campus.

Part 2 – Practical Application & Implementation Plan

Student servant leadership development takes consistent, intentional planning and is ongoing. Student Leadership Institute will allow your organization to identify and intentionally train student leaders who will, in turn, strongly lead in a way that will make an incredible impact on this world for Christ.

A plan will be developed with your organization in mind, which will include:

A core set of objectives and program criteria that will promote and produce intentional student servant leaders who can boldly lead counter-culturally, in a hands-on, practical way.
An implementation plan that will allow the Student Leadership Institute to take place according to the needs of your schedule.
Program promotion plan to specifically recruit and retain students.
A student application and selection process.
A plan to identify and train potential staff members who have the capacity and clout to lead the program.
