Getting There Is Part of the Experience
Mackinac Island is accessible only by ferry, making your journey part of the unique experience. MITA has partnered with Shepler’s Ferry to provide convenient and discounted transportation options for conference attendees. To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, we strongly recommend arriving at least one hour prior to your desired departure time.

Shepler’s Ferry offers frequent departures to Mackinac Island from both Mackinaw City and St. Ignace.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online or upon arrival.
When booking, be sure to reference the MITA group code to receive discounted pricing.

Both locations offer convenient access to Mackinac Island with regular departures throughout the day.
Parking Information
Mackinaw City: All options are self-parking.
Standard Parking: $25.00/night (off-site)
Premium On-Site Parking (Sun to Wed): $50.00/night on-site at the dock (gated entry/exit)
Premium On-Site Parking (Thurs to Sat): $75.00/night on-site at the dock (gated entry/exit)
St. Ignace: All options are self-parking.
Standard Parking: $25.00/night off-site (gated entry/exit)
Premium On-Site Parking (Sun to Wed): $50.00/night on-site at the dock (gated entry/exit)
Premium On-Site Parking (Thurs to Sat): $75.00/night on-site at the dock (gated entry/exit)
Shuttle service is available from off-site lots to ferry terminals.
Parking rates and availability are subject to change and are managed by the ferry service.
