The MITA Summer Conference is centered at the Grand Hotel, offering a truly unique and memorable setting. The Grand Hotel is sold out for conference dates. Overflow accommodations are available at the Bicycle Street Inn on a first-come, first-served basis—booking information is provided below.

An additional block of rooms (suites and balconies) is available at Bicycle Street Inn for attendees who are unable to secure accommodations at the Grand Hotel. This property is conveniently located in downtown Mackinac Island, just a short walk or carriage ride from conference events.

Room rates do not include meals

All conference attendees—regardless of where they stay—are welcome to attend scheduled events at the Grand Hotel

Dining Access at the Grand Hotel:

Attendees staying at Bicycle Street Inn (or any other off-site property) may participate in all MITA events including:

Thursday Evening Dinner

Friday Evening Reception & Dinner

Thursday Dinner Pricing (not included in room rate or registration fee):

Adults: $121 per person

Children 0-5: Comp with adult

Children 6-12: $65 per person

Children 13 and up: $112 per person

MITA will invoice off-site guests for Thursday Dinner attendance. 

This cost is already included in the room rate for guests staying at the Grand Hotel.

What is the cancellation policy for hotel reservations?
Grand Hotel:
    •    A two-night deposit is required to secure your reservation
    •    Cancellations made more than 10 days prior to arrival will receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee
    •    Cancellations made within 10 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the full deposit

Bicycle Street Inn:
    •    Cancellation policies may vary, but the following fees may apply:
    ◦    No-show fee: Up to two nights’ room rate
    ◦    Early departure fee: Up to two nights’ room rate
