When is the conference? January 27–28, 2027. 

Where is it held? The Amway Grand Plaza and DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids, MI — connected by a climate-controlled skywalk, so you won't need to go outside between them. The Amway Grand Plaza is located at 187 Monroe Ave NW., Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Who should attend? Contractors, suppliers, engineers, and public officials across Michigan's infrastructure and transportation industry.

How do I register? Click here to register to attend.

What's included with registration? Registration includes: trade show access, general sessions, breakfasts, lunch and receptions. The Future Leaders session is for Future Leaders participants only and the Past President's Dinner is for MITA's Past President's only. 

Is there a way to bulk register my attendees? Yes, if you are registering 10 or more conference attendees (not exhibiting companies). Download this spreadsheet template enter your attendee information and email it to daniellecoppersmith@thinkmita.org. MITA will bulk-upload your attendees and invoice you for their attendance. 

Can I cancel or get a refund? Yes — see our full Cancellation & Refund Policy for the deadlines and refund amounts. Substitutions are always free.

Can someone else attend in my place? Yes, substitutions are free — click here for ticket transfer instructions, or just let us know who's attending instead of you.

Are Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) available? Yes — several breakout sessions offer CEHs for engineers. Eligible sessions will be marked on the full agenda.

What topics are covered? MDOT updates, safety, legislative developments, and business best practices, alongside a full trade show and networking receptions.

Is the full schedule available? Not yet — the agenda is still being finalized. Check back closer to the event.

Where should I stay? The Amway Grand Plaza is the host hotel, connected directly to DeVos Place. Book by December 28, 2026 to guarantee the group rate.

The conference venue is sold out. Where else can I get a hotel room?
Grand Rapids has several other hotels downtown. Two of which are connected to the host venues via skywalk. They are: The J.W. Marriott and the Couryard by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown. MITA does not have a block of rooms at either of these overflow options.

How do I get to Grand Rapids? Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) is about 15 minutes from downtown; by car, Grand Rapids sits at the crossroads of I-96 and US-131.

Is parking available? Yes — several downtown ramps offer the first hour free. Overnight guests can park in the Amway’s parking ramp adjacent to the hotel for the following fees. $41/night self parking & $45/valet. Prices subject to change. Click here for a map of downtown parking options.

What should I pack? Late January in West Michigan means cold temperatures and possible snow. Once you're inside, the skywalk connects your hotel to DeVos Place, so you won't need to bundle up again until you leave.

Where's my confirmation email? Confirmation emails come from the registration platform, Accelevents. If you don't receive a confirmation email in a timely manner, please be sure to check your spam folder. If it's not there either, MITA staff would be happy to send you another.
