passion for their crafts and a desire for a simpler way to network and develop valuable relationships with the OEMs
searching for cost-effective domestic solutions. As such, we are committed to ensuring both exhibitors and attendees have

How much is parking, and should we
plan on arriving early to guarantee a
spot?
We understand that parking is a major headache at
traditional trade shows. These larger events often
require attendees to pay steep fees to circle overfilled
lots and then walk what feels like miles to the venue. We
carefully selected the Michiana Event Center to ensure
plenty of FREE parking for our attendees and exhibitors
within a reasonable radius, including access to trailer
parking.
What’s this I keep hearing about a
steak meal voucher?
MCMS is all about providing a better way to source
high-quality, finely crafted components manufactured by
some of the area’s most talented craftsmen. We believe
in “business on a handshake,” and there’s no better way
to seal a deal than over a good home-cooked steak and
potato meal. As such, we offer our exhibitors the
opportunity to pre-order $30 steak lunch vouchers to
hand out to potential clients during the showcase.
Where is Shipshewana, IN?
Shipshewana, IN, is centrally located within America’s
heartland, within a couple of hours’ drive of Chicago, IL,
Fort Wayne, IN, Toledo, OH, and Grand Rapids, MI. We
may be composed of smaller, family-owned contract
manufacturers, but we have a dedication to innovation
and high-quality craftsmanship that is second to none.
What’s the procedure for placing
orders during the trade show?
At MCMS, we’re not here to dictate how you manage
your business agreements. You can place orders and
RFQs directly with the vendor of your choice.
Are there any good hotels in the area?
Shipshewana is home to a number of chain and independently owned hotels, motels, and bed-and-breakfasts
that offer comfortable rooms at reasonable prices, including:

Where do you recommend we grab a bite to eat?
There will be a number of menu items available to purchase during the event, including the steak and potato lunch. However, if you're still hungry after the show or are looking for a different flavor profile, there are several wonderful restaurants to choose from. The Shipshewana Area boasts a wide variety of options, from hearty Amish cafes providing farm-to-table goodness to the quick in-and-out drive-thrus and familiar favorites. There’s something here for everyone.
Is there anything to do in the evenings besides eat and sit in a motel room?
Absolutely! We highly recommend you get out and explore the great things Shipshewana has to offer. We suggest you begin your evening by discovering our local family-run artisan shops, which close at 5 PM. Fill those few hours between dinner and bed by enjoying carriage rides through our quaint little town, catching a show at the theater, or choosing from a number of wonderful options.

How is attending your trade show a better way to reshore?
There is so much muddling up the buying process, especially considering recent geopolitical events driving up the costs of overseas manufacturing. Trade shows are one of the best ways to compare potential vendors and develop valuable partnerships; however, the larger the event, the more chaotic it becomes, putting barriers between the highly skilled and experienced contract manufacturers and the OEMs looking for domestic solutions.
