Stova is an event management platform selling registration, onsite check-in, badging and an attendee app, mainly to enterprises and associations. Teams evaluating it usually also look at Accelevents, Cvent, Bizzabo, Swoogo and EventsAIR. (Accelevents is our platform.) Stova is typically the incumbent. Accelevents comes up when a team wants comparable coverage without a professional services engagement to get an event live.
Yes. Stova is the combined brand for Aventri and MeetingPlay, which is why some review sites still list it as "Stova (formerly MeetingPlay & Aventri)" and why older contracts and RFP responses use the previous names. If you inherited an Aventri or MeetingPlay contract, you are on Stova. Check which legacy product your account sits on, since the underlying systems were built separately.
Neither platform publishes list pricing. Stova has used credit-based models in competitive proposals, where you buy a pool of credits drawn down by usage. Comparing that against an Accelevents quote, ask three things: what consumes a credit, what happens if you exhaust the pool mid-event, and whether onsite hardware is in the number. Then ask both vendors to price the same event at twice its size.
No. Sessions, speakers, tracks and tags are built once in the admin console under Event Content, and the event website and the Accelevents attendee app both read from that build. There is no second agenda to re-enter in the app. Test it either way: make a session and room change during your demo and confirm what the attendee sees on each surface.
