The Roxie Theater is holding its annual FUNraiser this year

at San Francisco’s celebrated Mission Bowling Club

MARCH 8, 2017

6:30-10:30 PM

Tickets are now on sale - limited quantities are available so grab them while you can!

Enjoy bowling while you feast and make merry with luminaries from the Bay Area film world. Tickets are $125, and bowling, dinner and drinks are included at no additional cost with every ticket! Not only that, but a significant part of the ticket will be tax-deductible (receipt sent after the event).

However, you don't have to attend the FUNraiser to still be a part of the fun and Roxie support. We will have a Silent Auction beginning on February 8th.  We have a wide selection of auction items for the art-lover, cinema-lover, food-lover, outdoor-lover, and sports fans.  Check out and bid on your favorites, whether that's a private screening of not-yet-released Abbas Kiarostami rarities, a signed Klay Thompson Warriors jersey, or something you know will make someone else in your life happy, say, a week in a beautiful Sedona home, a three night stay during the 2018 SXSW Festival, or a paella pan so massive, it'll have other little paella pans orbiting around it.

At 8 o'clock the winners of the auction will be announced followed by our esteemed auctioneer Owsley Brown who will cap off the evening with a live auction of the three highest-bid silent auction items.

Finally, we have an entire week of films celebrating our 41st anniversary as an arthouse movie theater. Can't make the party, auction bids too high? Check out one of our amazing anniversary screenings that week.

A San Francisco landmark in the Mission District, the Roxie Theater brings people together to meet and connect through distinctive cinematic experiences. Guided by the passionate belief that engaging with a movie doesn’t end with the credits, we invite filmmakers, curators, entertainers and educators to interact with our audiences. We provide inspiration and opportunity for the next generation, and serve as a forum for the independent film community reflecting the spirit of the diverse Bay Area population. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
