By default, this integration is strongest for sending registration data from Accelevents into Swapcard. If you also want profile updates made in Swapcard to update ticket holder information in Accelevents, you can add a Swapcard webhook to support that workflow.
This integration is useful when Accelevents is handling registration and Swapcard is supporting the attendee-facing event experience. It helps your team connect those workflows without asking staff to manage the same attendee data in two systems.
When an attendee registers in Accelevents, a people profile can be created in your Swapcard event automatically. If the attendee already exists in Swapcard under the same email address, that record may be updated instead, depending on ticket conditions.
Name and email are included, and additional ticket holder form answers can be mapped into Swapcard people fields. Ticket type and assigned ticket number can also be passed over as part of the attendee record.
Yes. Ticket mapping is required for all tickets. If a ticket is not mapped and someone registers for it in Accelevents, no record will be created in Swapcard for that registration.
Not fully by default. Updates made to ticket holder information in Accelevents can update Swapcard, but changes made in Swapcard do not update Accelevents unless you configure a webhook.
No. Each ticket holder must have a unique email address enabled in Accelevents, because Swapcard can associate only one ticket per user.
No. Registrations created from a Swapcard form are not imported into Accelevents in the current setup.
