Earlier this year, we set the goal of delivering the highest quality mobile app possible. Our focus was to make the app easier to use for attendees while giving event organizers full control over the look and feel of their events. We are excited to announce major enhancements to our mobile app, which will soon be available to all customers.
Explore Our New Mobile App Enhancements:
- Automatic login for attendees
- Configurable colors for lobby and navigation buttons
- Customizable lobby tab buttons/pages
- Customizable navigation bar elements & styling
- Customizable app backgrounds
- Live app preview to see changes in real time to track customizations in real time
- Flexible branding throughout. Customizable colors for the entire app to set up your branding

The first goal was to simplify attendee access with an automatic login process, reducing friction and speeding up entry to relevant content. Introducing automatic login.
Automatic Login for Attendees
Using custom tabs, you can now create an automatic login for your attendees. When attendees tap a custom lobby button that links to your event’s landing page, they’re now signed in automatically. No extra login prompt—just straight to browsing and buying add-ons.

Secondly, we aimed to create a user interface that felt as slick as TikTok while allowing event organizers to ensure the app matched every element of the event’s branding. With additional branding comes complexity, which we hate. To keep the experience easy for organizers, we added a live preview so that you can see each change you make without having to open your phone.
Custom Pages
Create as many custom pages as you need. Custom pages can include custom copy, images, and videos, pre-filtered lists of agenda items, open external pages, or embed any external content. For example, if you have multiple sponsored after-parties each night of your event, you could create a custom page with a filtered agenda of just the activities for each evening.

Customizable Color Schemes for Lobby Pages
This update lets you fully customize the look and feel of modules in our mobile app through pre-made color schemes and templates. In addition to lobby modules, you can now adjust the color schemes for chat, feed, agenda, and session descriptions.

Customizable Backgrounds
In addition to customizing color schemes for lobby pages, you can now customize background images and colors in the mobile app. Use your events brand template and colors or upload custom imagery.

Live App Preview to Track Customizations in Real Time
New to the admin console, all changes made to the mobile app can now be previewed in real-time before being updated in the app. This is one of our favorite enhancements as it allows you to test your branding updates before making updates available to your attendees.

Lastly, this update includes custom buttons, tabs, and bottom navigation to improve content discoverability and ease of use for attendees.
Flexible Branding Options
Users can now select and order buttons, as well as set custom colors for them. Now you can tailor the mobile app experience to meet your brand's or event’s specific needs. Our new branding area features a primary color and foreground color selector.

Customizable Bottom Navigation Bar
You can now configure the three middle items in the bottom navigation bar. Users can select 1-3 items to include between the Home and Menu widgets, giving you more control over the modules you want to highlight in the bottom navigation bar.

Splash Screen
Create a customizable Splash screen when the attendee app loads.
Introduced a customizable Splash screen feature for the attendee app, accessible via the Event Design->Event Hub in the Admin Console. The platform now tracks Splash screen impressions and provides this data in a downloadable report.
