Event analytics is the reporting layer over event data, covering registration, attendance, session engagement and exhibitor activity across one event or a whole program.
Registration data tells you who signed up and through which path. Attendance data tells you who arrived. Session data tells you what they chose once inside. Engagement data covers everything else they touched, from booth visits to app activity. Most teams have the first layer and assume it represents the other three.
This is the single most common reporting error. A session with four hundred registrations and a hundred and ten people in the room is a different session, and if you report the registration figure to a sponsor you will be found out. Capacity planning, content decisions and sponsor reporting all need the attendance number.
A single event report answers whether that event worked. Comparison across a program answers which formats, topics and cities are worth repeating. That requires the same fields captured the same way every time, which is a discipline problem more than a tooling one.
Session analytics cover attendance and video engagement per session, registration data has its own report, and shareable smart views and lists let stakeholders pull what they need without being given admin access to the platform. History logs record what changed and who changed it. See in-depth analytics.
